First Heavy Frost

On Sunday we got up early for church. Upon taking Rowdi out for a walk we soon realized that we had, had our first truly winter weather. It had rained and then froze overnight, so there were icicles hanging from trees, light poles etc. It was so serene. We got to church and were about 15 minutes into the service when the power failed. It turns out a couple of transformers along the road had blown. The church elders and pastor did a wonderful job and we continued right on with our "Simple Christmas" service. It was very moving and gave me a sense of peace. When we left the church the sun was trying to come out so the pictures below were the result. Enjoy!
